The Segantini Museum built in the year 1908 a tribute to the great artist Giovanni Segantini who was born in Italy but spent the some of his life in St. Moritz, he came back to St. Moritz and spent the last five years of his life. It was during this time that he created some wonderful masterpieces, his work had the influence of the Lombardian painting, his work exhibited his talent and reflected him as a great artist.
Most of his works are in display in the Museum, people from all around the world visit this museum to admire his beautiful work, the most important of his work is the large Alpine Triptych-“Life-Nature-Death” that is displayed in the museum.
